Patricia Cappuyns specialises in patent and trade mark law, as well as the interface of intellectual property and competition law. In February 2016, after 15 years of experience in a UK, a US and a Belgian law firm, she founded a new IP niche firm with 3 other IP attorneys under the name "Cape IP Law". Patricia is a member of the Bars of Brussels, Ghent and New York.
Since 2013, Patricia has been teaching the course Patent Law in the LL.M. program in IP and Competition Law at the Université de Liège. She is also a member of the LES European Committee and a regular contributor to LES Nouvelles with her quarterly column “The Scoop from Europe”.
